Well for starters, my name is Kaitlyn. Nice to meet you!
I started having an interest in Photography when I was in grade 8 - I used money that I received as a gift for graduation to buy my first digital camera. I would take pictures of anything and everything available, including our family pets. In high school I was fortunate enough to be given the opportunity to earn credits in both grade 11 and 12 Photography. I fell in love with it so I took both courses in grade 11 so I could spend time in my grade 12 year being a co-op student within the classes as well. I purchased my first "real" camera in grade 12 from a friend of mine who was upgrading her equipment, and I started building my portfolio. Over the last 10 years I have been able to photograph countless weddings and special family moments, and continue to learn and grow in my business every single day.
Three facts about me:
1. My husband John and I have been together since March 2017. We got married on October 25, 2025!
2. We have a cat named Gizmo who, yes, was named after a Gremlin.
3. I love hopping in the car and going for random drives - I find it so incredibly calming.
